Cold because it feels nice

Heat makes you sweaty, thirsty, and makes people smell awful. Cold doesn't do that.

The cold can preserve you for a long time.  Ogm no wai

Are you kidding? I can jump around through the snow pretending I'm some cosmonaut with a space suit on!
Yeah, but once you're out of the snow it's more irritatting to get back to normal.
Your hands and legs start to sting from the cold and then you're wet from the snow. Not to mention, all the extra clothes needed in the snow.

You wouldn't run through the cold comfortably with no clothes on, but you could in the heat.

I'd rather spend my time in the sun lounging than up in a ski resort.

One reason heat sucks. when its REALLY cold, your hands burn, reminding you that heat is evil.

If you take off your clothes in 120 degree heat, you will still be hot.

Nah, that's a false sense.
That's the cold being so terrible, that your body has to tell you that heat is better and tries to re-create the feeling in your hands.

Dying from heat is more painful than dying from cold
