V4.5b Boxworld is a 2d Sidescrolling game where you jump over things. It's singleplayer only for now, But you can start a server. Sort of. Old Topic I released 4.1.5 today so i decided to make me a new topic (old topic too old) Version 4.5b Level creator updated: Level creator brick menu More level creator bricks Level creator grid temporarily removed Level editor GUI only shows in edit mode Mouse now shown in creator Fixed level creator hold issue - Small boss 1 room change Various changes to support next large update Version 4.3b Ground textures outline fixed Lava under texture added Lava has flying flakes Fixed torch speed Fixed torches appearing infront of player Boss one has landing effect “Press Space” made different colour Level creator now has a visible grid Lighting system: Option to turn off lights in settings Version 4.21b Fixed last screen not sending to main menu Text boxes now have “Press Space” Wall torches added to 2 last levels. Other level tweaks COOP / Online area removed You can use both shift and up to jump INI rewriting itself everytime fixed INI changes Opening story text change Dying with shield bug fixed Version 4.1.51b Fixed standing above shield Yellow thunder laser things have sparkly effects Player freezes when text box active (Ignore what it said in last patch note :s) Removed unneeded sound effect Metal falling bricks have a different sound effect to ground Version 4.1.5b New stage 0 Stage 2 now has more levels Few stage 1 tweaks Settings now save to a INI file New music Dynamic water! Player collision box slightly changed Boss one tweaked Fixed getting stuck to top of activateable things Online screen Fixed game freezing if you pressed resurrect with no save Redone falling brick collisions (They work like you would expect now! huzzar!) Small warning added to death/esc menu Esc menu now has ReLoad instead of resurrect Death/ESC menu will be on top of everything. ESC menu has a close button. R key function removed. Use esc. Load button plays button press sound Fixed every text box trying to delete item obtaining thing (!?) Development area for very work in progress things (need to enable in INI) Level Creator Various tweaks Problems i know about: Sometimes player colides oddly, Shield sometimes doesn't work, MUSICS TOO LOUD OH MY EARS, Sometimes you fall extremely fast if you press against a wall's top edge and jump Change Log To-Do List Screenshots Download Don't bug me about the players. I'll sort out the animations one day honest. |
