Magnum ammo is more of a range boost, with some extra damage. It's nice on rifles because you don't have to adjust so much for bullet drop. But usually you're sacrificing some controllability on say SMGs or small rifles by using magnum ammo rather then the weapon specialization. Personally I find body armor to be much worse. Pumping half a clip into somebody only to find they still have 10% of their health left when they kill you. :( |
