Reaper will do just about anything for a good laugh, whether for others or just himself. The thing is, when you make a habit of getting a laugh at the expense of others or straining on their 'ticks' (For example, these actions or even his clan), you tend to come off as rude. Especially if you give no mind to how it may affect them. Certainly, there are times when working off of a person's flaws or ticks can be funny, but when you intentionally try to hurt them for the laugh or know it will hurt them, there is a difference. Laugh about life, not at it.
Certainly there is something to be said for the power of laughter, but if you taint it with cruelty, someone will be hurt.

I wouldn't have worded it the same way, but this sums most of it up. Reaper was a nice boy, though, and I know he still is. He can be fun to be around at times and he is a rather smart boy. Just recently he's been acting with "new shades of color", to say the least.
Perhaps it's stress in his life, or maybe he's just going through one of those phases (People can go through a lot of them as a teen). Maybe he strives acceptance and or popularity so he acts like this. Maybe he's just adapted this behavior because of those he spends time with. Maybe he genuinely thinks everything he says is funny and those who get insulted have a bad sense of humor. I can't say for sure, but it pains me to have known one person for so long and then one day they are completely someone else. It seems to happen a lot to those I know. :s
