my first pistol model

I would also like to know (Because I also model) when making a gun, how do you make the barrel so it extrudes (To make the barrel) backwards, how do you not make the barrel look as thin as a sheet of paper, look at his barrel, its so thin, sorta like mines.

If you are using milkshape extrude it nowhere then scale then extrude inwards.
