im iffy about it because no warranty and i want this stuff to last as long as my ps2

The price for a new Xbox360 Arcade is $150. Harddrives run for about $20 to $50 dollars online. Plus you'll have a warranty.

But, depending on what comes with the used one, it might be a better deal. No warranty means that you should have no qualms about opening it up and fixing it yourself if it RRoD's (Super easy to do and very efficient. The whole operation costs about $15 and has enough supplies you can repeat it about 10 times without having to buy anything else).

Do you know anyone with PS3's?

--- Quote from: Bisjac on September 02, 2010, 12:15:13 PM ---ps3 exclusives are better then 360 exclusives.

paying for xbox live is friendry. you already own the expensive games, why pay just to use them?
and if you are paying for xbox live, why do they still show you tons of adds?

ps3 is always simply updated automatically with new major technological features as tvs and media advances.
while xbox remains that stupid box that red rings on you.

Debatable. And, everything depends on your preferences. 1 year of xbox live costs about the same price as a new game. I have no idea about what ads you are talking about. Xbox updates as well and never red rings if you treat it correctly. Also, fixing a red ring is very easy in most cases.

Depends what you want to do. I consider PS3 more of a media device, than a gaming device. I choose Xbox 360.

Exactly. I see the PS3 more as a fancy Blu-ray player more than a gaming console, as that is what my friends use theirs for.

CrazyLot:

Well, I use a Xbox360 at the moment, but I do fancy a PS3 mainly for certain games and also because before I had a ps2 that I really enjoyed but had to sell it for money :/

Sabbin:

Can't only the OLDER PS3 models play PS2 and PS discs?
