Author Topic: Away At War 2: 3001 Movie [Released]  (Read 30735 times)

Will the private add-ons be released as the movie is?

Also, I love the little Robbie <3

Some might, but most of them don't work properly and I'm too lazy to make them work.

What's the vehicle they use at the very beginning? Just the small basic little ship?
You mean the tripod things? Those were animated. Or do you mean the ships that they fly in, cause those were animated too lol.

I want it now. now now now.

btw, are you going to release the add ons you used in the film? :D

~:Waits for the absolutely epic release.:~

This prescreening is amazing, you guys are really missing out!

For those of you who haven't seen this yet, let me say this:

Hot damn.

When I first saw Dark's movies, I remember I was critical. They were sloppy and unoriginal (or rather, simply uncreative). They had major potential, just not executed very well.

Then he goes and makes a movie called Away at War. It became the turning point in my appreciation towards him as a film maker. I helped with the voices in that movie too. The only problems where that it was a little sketchy at times, and not exactly coherent. Also the ending sucked.

So now, here we are almost 3 years later with a little project called Away at War 2. This movie is, without a doubt, his finest to date. The characters are rich with emotion (I should know, I had to play them) as the writing was good. The animation over ingame footage blends very well together, and the story actually leaves you caring for what has happened to these characters. It looks great, it tells great, it's what every machinima should strive for, and Darkstar has it.

All in all, I absolutely love doing voices for him, I can't wait to help with future projects.

10 out of 10 stars.
