I haven't had much experience with touch screens because my thumbs are too big and chubby.

The Droid isn't the best. All the iPad is is an oversized iPod Touch. And the majority of games for the iPod Touch suck. You can already stream TV and movies to your Droid if you wanted. Plus, I'm pretty sure you can get your droid to display on a computer screen or TV, so you could watch movies and such on a "Big Screen".

Really, the iPad is a waste of money.

The iPad isn't portable either. Seriously, when would you ever pull out an iPad to watch a movie? Most likely at your house or at school. At your house, you can just do the PC/TV thing I said. At school, you'll have so many kids swarming you to see it (AKA trying to touch the screen and mess you up) that you'll not even want watch it anymore. The only place I could really see you use it is in the car, but you'd have no wifi, so you'd have to download everything you'd want to watch before hand. Also, the bigger screen won't truly make a difference in the car.

You can do that with the droid or the iPod Touch/iPhone. Also, how would you store it when you're not using it? If you can't store it easily with you when you're on the go, it's not portable. This means that you'll probably need a backpack or something similar to carry it around with you at all times. I think that would be pretty obnoxious.

It's not that tiny if you hold it closer to your face.

Anyway, I say your wasting your money if you get it. You're Droid will provide you more options than the iPad ever will, it's a lot more portable, and way less expensive. You'll never use the iPad as much as you think you are going to. But hey, buy whatever you want. The screen, though it is bigger, doesn't mean that it makes it better. It'll be hard lugging it around and you won't really be able to use it outside of your house/car. You could maybe use it at school, but you'd have so many kids bugging you, you wouldn't even want to use it.
