The "mosque" that is supposed to be being built 2 blocks away isn't more than 2-3 stories and sits in a confined lot between two already constructed buildings. They have to demolish a building to put it in, and it's not really a Mosque, it's a community center for Muslims.

It's 2 blocks away, and Islam itself did not cause the terrorist attacks, Al-Qaeda is a separate sect comprised of radical viewpoints that almost no other Muslims share. In-fact, a lot of Muslims are ashamed of them, there's even large Muslim movements going on right now preaching love over hate and kindness over violence.
