What about a purely informational app? It could have different building styles contributed by various players. Eventing tutorials. Possibly eventually a chat system?
I'm just starting to get into app development and I think this would be fun to undertake. I know nothing of 3D development, so don't ask for a .bls reader or anything super complicated.
