Author Topic: This is why we cant have nice things  (Read 2285 times)

Yea. So, I ran Windows 99 in Virtual PC. When I decided to go browse the forum I minimized the window. A few minutes later I scrolled through the task bar like I always do. One window was very blue, and well...

:c

Blue screen of death.
I've gotten that once but I never figured out why

How can an emulated Windows session get the blue screen?

Stop it, computer.
That makes no sense.

lol

*laughs at people who have ever gotten a blue screen*

Its a Virtual Machine. A Windows 99 runs in the application, with all the files in Windows 99, and every error aswell.

But how can the regular session still work with that error.

Stupid computer, stop confusing me.

Oh, I almost forgot to say;

This is the third time I got a BSOD on Windows 99.

1st: BSOD on boot with MS_DOS earape noise.
2nd: Putting a .iso in the "Virtual Drive"
3rd: This.

An .iso is a type of file used for emulation, isn't it?

I was transfering some Windows 99 documents to my computer (Win99 Screensavers & Backgrounds). The iso plan did not work as I planned. I ended up emailing myself the files :P
