Milkshape Or Blender
Muffin:
Thanks, THis has been helpful
heedicalking:
Milkshape is good for simple things like swords and guns but if you want more complex things like playertypes, tanks, and such, use blender.
Muffin:
Do they both run the same? Like if i get really used to Blender will i be able to use Milkshape or is it a completely different layout?
Edit: Nvm, I tried Milkshape, and i cant even figure out how to extrude..
Edit Edit: Loser Hero, I don't Understand what you mean by Poly. Ive seen people say this before but what is it?
LoserHero:
MilkShape and Blender are very different from eachother and consequently one cannot transfer knowledge of Blender to Milkshape.
To extrude in milk shape using a cube as an example: select Faces and check ignore back faces. Hold shift and on one of your view windows select those faces. Click extrude and click and drag in the correct direction.
"Poly" is just a short hand term for Polygon or Faces. A Face can be made up of 3 vertices.

I don't see a point in learning a more basic program if you already know a program that will allow you do to a lot more than Blockland models.
