I am really angry right now. I'm not sure if the guy I'm angry at did this on purpose though. I know Chrono didn't like how you gained a bunch of levels by crafting. I worked really hard to gaining the mining and woodcutting levels required to craft destinite. Now, two shops opened up in the nation of Lyme that allow you to purchase wood and ores. Trigun, Truce, and Drake all passed me up and have levels of over 100 in crafting. Truce and Trigun also mentioned how rich they became from it. It pisses me off that all of my hard work was for nothing. UPDATE: The ores from the shop are mostly gone, but the trees are still for sale. Also, now I can't catch up to the people who passed me up. |

The GUIs seem a bit... archaic... |

Crafting won't let me craft more then once. I have to reconnect to craft again. You need to add a message to the cool-down. |

Basically Lyme was able to get all four upgrade slots, max out the perk levels, and still retain about one million plastic. Hopefully Chrono will add stat caps and make resources unique to nations to help prevent things like this, whether or not he also fixes how broken crafting is. And a wipe :U |

A way to stop all the crazy crafting: --- Quote from: Doomonkey on October 08, 2010, 05:28:30 PM ---Make a player controlled market where nations sell things competitively. Eventually, it will balance everything out. It will also force the skills of resource gathering to be developed. People decide to craft, because there is a high demand for crafted items, now the crafting people create a higher demand for resources, and at the same time, make a bigger supply of crafted items. --- End quote --- Also, making that type of market is probably too big a step to do all at once. I think the first step would be to just eliminate the selling of resources entirely. |
