Just starting Gmod.

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\yourusername\garrysmod\garrysmod\
Then put the files in right folders.
For example, if the downloaded addon contains a folder called materials, take what is inside of the folder and put it in the materials folder of garrysmod.
If you download a map, it will usually come without a folder, just take the map and put it in the maps folder.
