The only way I can make this go faster is by hooking it up directly to the router.

I'm copying the files that I use most over to another drive so I can transfer them to my new computer when I build it and look how much my Steam file is...

No derr. But the one in my computer when I build it when I get the parts will be 1TB.

1.Set up homegroup.
2.Transfer to shared documents.
3.Receive documents from shared documents on new computer.
4.???
5.Profit.

I transferred a 40.4 MB file onto another hard drive in 5 seconds.
How the hell is that fast?
