i was in v9, but i don't think spaceguy's events were there then, i think that they faded out in the update to v9, maybe i came in late v9 or something

I thought that originally SpaceGuy was going to be making the improved events system introduced after his one in v8, but that didn't work out and Badspot did them himself and, as such, v9 took forever to be released.
But I'm probably wrong, I didn't pay much attention to that whole occurance

before there were events of any kind from anyone. badspot announced a future update having wrench events. (that we all familiar with from the 0002mod days)
the community got all excited about it, as expected. nothing wrong with that.
but following that, space guy THEN went to rush his own crappy one out. and sat on his knees with his mouth open and tongue hanging out, awaiting the warmth of blocklander love he desired.
