Demoman have a slower-than-average move speed (like 90 something % iirc). They go even slower with the scotsman's scullcutter, but can run around pretty fast after taking a few heads with the eyelander.

Do they really move slower than 100? I never realized that. I guess it's because of such a little difference in speed.

It's pretty small, but it's definitely noticeable when you're an engineer, spy, or sniper running alongside them.

Even though it provides lulz, the scattergun will do a stuffload more damage and can kill a heavy in 3-4 shots if you are right on top of him.
