It has +1 Rad throughout the entire vault, sometimes +2/3 depending where you are. It's difficult if you don't know where to go (like myself) it took literally an hour of being exposed to radiation and tons of ghouls.

If you're awesome, Ghouls are a one shot kill, except the pesky Roamers might take a few more. There's a local map on your PipBoy, use it. This is also why I always keep at least three Rad Aways with me.

No, you see they aren't normal ghouls, they take quite a lot of effort to kill, especially since some wear vault security armor and have the ability to emit a blast of radiation.
