Your model is pretty cool by the way, but you should make it a bit more round and maybe use a real pistol as reference.

ontopis- did you use a picture in the backround? if not, it REALLY helps to know WHAT your modeling. just saying

If you are using blender 2.49, click the view button and select background image. Then set your image and hit 7, 1, or 3 to set it to whatever angle you want it at to model it with.

use the extrude tool with that, and you can just draw your gun. Though I have had a bit of a problem attaching a barrel to the flat surface....
