As much as the 360 sucks compared to computers I doubt you would get enough money to get a nice pc. I would go for the 360 since you can play with friends and its affordable

PC is an overall better gaming system with more capabilities that may require a higher end PC than your current one. The PC also has a LOT of games that you won't be able to obtain if you get an xbox360.
If you get an xbox360, well have fun with your friends.

I too doubt you would get the money required to make a decent computer. Unless your options are $800-$1000 for a computer or $200 for an xbox, in which case you would be stupid to not get the PC.
