So you're saying I should get more ram with 32 bit can only read 4 gigs or ram? That makes total sense!

And if you're referring to my other specs, they're pretty high end except my cpu which is only a dual core 2.9ghz.

And at the first "solution", hue hue.
yes
No games require more than 4 gigs of ram.
Oh and Crysis is a tech demo not a real game.

Touche, also depends on what ram ur using. Manufacturer, speed, latency, ddr ddr2 ddr3

There is no reason to go with a 32 bit version. I don't remember where I heard it before but the 64 bit version is supposed to be more stable plus it can support more ram.

As OP said I believe it's DDR3 but I'm not sure. I also don't know what the manufacturer is. I can try to find my specs but I'm kinda lazy at the moment.

I have 64 bit on my laptop but not my desktop. It's the issue of money.

another way you can check on what is eating up ur usage going to start and in the search box type "Resource Monitor" without the quotes. The process using the most will be first on the list and work your way down with anything u think that looks unfamiliar or think should not be running. Google what u think is weird to see what program is associated with it.

You mean the graph thing? I accessed that though process list. There's a button that says resource monitor. Go Win7 for simplifying stuff. :D

EDIT: Oh and I forgot to say that I didn't see anything that was using a lot of my ram. There was one process but it looked important. I'll go look at it again.

The process that is using the most ram is AAWService.exe. It's using over 200mbs of ram.

Sounds like some networking thing. Is it important of any sort?

Lol or you can do it that way... but win7 does let you open any program just by typing its name in the search box... its epic like that. Like just type paint really quick and hit enter and theres paint all up in ur face.

Yeah I know but I don't use it a lot. Mostly because Win7 will sometimes open the wrong freaking thing. :/

Yes, yes I do. stuff, I guess that's what's screwing me over. I knew it sounded like a networking thing. I guess I'll just disable ad-aware when I play games.

EDIT: Also thanks to all the guys that took the time to help me instead of bashing me for the desktop icons things. I'm not perfect so back to hell off. It's a help thread for a reason.

if that doesnt work to your liking we'll help u figure more stuff out!

Why? Are you having any trouble while playing games or do you just think you're using too much RAM?
