Iv played every fallout from 1 to tactics to 3, and all fables (including the remakes for the PC). Both stack up well, but got bugs. Fable is not short by any means, you just need to know how to play it. Fallout doesn't actually end... My suggestion is get Fable 3, Get fallout new vegas when you got four months of nothing ahead of you. |

However Fallout is a VERY good game, it is action packed, has deep customization and a huge world to explore. Either one is a good choice, Maybe rent Fable, play until you get a bit bored, then rent Fallout until you get bored, then decide which to buy? |
