I watched this exact video the day it was posted, back when I was obsessed over what they said spore would be. I was somewhat disappointed when the "creature creator demo" thing came out, and was nothing like the one in the video, then I got the real game, hoping that it was only because that was only a demo. The real game sucked even worse, and they seemed to have gotten rid of some of the features from the demo. I played through the whole game, got bored and played it every so often so I wouldn't disappoint my parents having begged them for Spore for my birthday. I now never play it, and having taken year 7-10 biology, the game frustrates me on how unrealistic it is, such as cells having eyes, or the same cell simply growing in size, then walking onto land and being around a foot in length.
Also, the less effort it takes to kill my prey and survive, the smarter I become, and have the need to create tools to aid me in my survival... :l In a single generation, every single one of my species undertook the same transformations that I did, but we could have easily survived without the new parts/color-change.
