when i tried to install it it was copying old screens or something and then an error message appeared and i kinda just automatically clicked abort so i didnt see it :/

Yeah, the way torque was scanning for zipped mods on startup was stupid and slow.  You'll just have to use the add-on based mission editor.  I'll post an official version when the update ships.
