Please try to actually add to this conversation. Darkness isn't an idea, darkness is a thing. It isn't tangible, but it sure as stuff isn't an idea. Maturity is not tangible and isn't a thing.
did you even read my last post to the last word? I said that it applies to all types of nouns, be it tangible, non-tangible, or an idea.
Figurative language refers to words, and groups of words, that exaggerate or alter the usual meanings of the component words. Figurative language may involve brown townogy to similar concepts or other contexts, and may involve exaggerations. These alterations result in figures of speech.
This means that even though an idea could not seep in literal language, it can in figurative language. Thanks for completely reading it about a page ago.
