Massive Armatures

Whenever I place an armature, it's about the size of the model itself. I looked on some tutorials with pictures and the armatures that they place are smaller. Whenever I export the model into game though its fine, I was just wondering if somethin is wrong becuase its really annoying.

It doesnt really matter that they're huge, they just get in the way from time to time. Its perfectly safe to just scale them down. (Press S and move your mouse inwards)

Use the size tool.

Thanks, I know the scale button was S but I thought scaling it would mess it up, thanks for helping me :D
