No it isn't. Besides if you were all the goody two-shoes you pretend to be, you would rather err on the side of caution and tell his mom, it would be much better for him to be embarrassed by mommy than to actually kill himself. But I guess you all just don't care like I do.

I meant I never thought Self Delete was wrong, I am all for it, I dunno where you got that. Also Proog is right, if he wants to talk about Self Delete he has to know it isn't just a free attention card, it can and should be taken seriously, even if it is a joke, having it taken seriously is more than a fit punishment. I mean when the boy cried wolf he got killed, Chriz cried Self Delete and all he is gonna get is a shake of the hand from his mommy and daddy.

Also his mom hasn't been on myspace in like 3-4 months, and her Facebook looks equally inactive, so she will most likely never see this message. So I wouldn't trip about it.

I can't believe you guys are saying he is in the wrong for attempting to intervene. When somebody threatens to take their own life, it is important to get others of higher authority involved so help can be brought to the situation without a more gruesome outcome.

We were telling him that not because he intervened, but because he did it only to get Chriz in trouble and to get amusement out of it, as he said himself. As I said:

It is not your life, Visage. You have no right to cast punishment upon a person you don't know, if only for the fact you don't know what they deserve. Actually attempting to help would be one thing; showing compassion for those you don't know is rather important in life. However telling who you assume his mother is about him just to bring yourself amusement is rude and uncalled for.

I suppose it is all opinionated. I have mentioned multiple times before that I intend to go into a career as police, fire, or EMS. All life saving organizations. So I guess naturally I am more concerned with saving a human life.

The only other explanation I can offer is the fact that people naturally make rash and sometimes horrible choices. Any bad choice is repairable, all but Self Delete. If someone decides to make this choice and it turns out to be a bad one their is no coming back. Human tendency is to make decisions in the moment and not thinking ahead.

I never said that it is wrong to  try and help Chriz nor that it was wrong to help anyone in such matters out of compassion. I'm saying it was unkind that you sent the letter out of cruel intentions and in order to merely get him in trouble and to gain you a laugh, not because of his saftey. And now you're turning this around for what I assume, again, is for your amusement.
