It depends for me, thinking about it, I wish I'd chosen orchestra. But the bands that I listen to depend: there are good ones and bad ones. I don't like going to concerts because I have very sensitive and can't see how people can stand super-loud sounds, so I go with the CD's because they have much better sound quality and volume control(lol). I also like it when you can hear each instrument, so heavy metal doesn't go well with me all the time. But there are some heavy metal bands that I do listen to every now and then, but only because I'd been listening to them for years on end and grown to like them.
Orchestra music is good in some cases with me, like for classical music composers and Tran Siberian Orchestra. I'll listen to them, but not always. So I'd honestly go with band over orchestra.
I will, however, listen to the orchestra music from the newer Metroid Prime games end-on-end because it's good music and has memorable tunes. The orchestratical types only apply to the newer Metroid games because those aren't running on 8 or 16 bit music, like the old ones. But there are quite a few good 8 to 16 bit Metroid songs, but that's another story.
Typing that, I'm glad I put in Band but still feel like I'm ignoring Metroid Prime. asdf .-.
Still dunno why Media Player classifies Evanescence as heavy metal. Even the piano music... Hm.
