The xbox.com website was updated a while ago so that info is out of date
Log into to xbox.com. (derp)
Move your mouse over the My Xbox tab
Click accounts
You should see Edit Payment Options. Click it and delete credit cards

Why in the fugging hell would anyone pay for Xbox LIVE? When you can pay $300 dollars for a Playstation3 and never get a bill for online play. All you need is to get wireless internet and you can play.
