I personally have no problem with signatures.
However, for the sites that do have them, there should be an image and image size limit on signatures... that way you can't have 5 big pictures or a thousand little ones.

You can usually just disable them.

But what if you want to see the pictures? Just not massive spam of huge stupid meme images, various banners, game-time counters, and four hundred dragon eggs?

Signatures are only good for quotes and possibly hot linking to relevant links on the same site, nothing else.

Signatures for me are really for what Im up too or something that I thought funny, or a favorite quote.
I don't use pictures often for it either.
