Put your mouse on the bar at the top and look for social. Click that, and press the + button.

Aha, got raped by a traffic magnet in multiplayer, turns out I crashed at a choke point and then pretty much everybody racing crashed into me, I flipped over twice, and did a few barrelrolls.
