Tree building help

I loving suck at building trees. I'm trying to make a pine tree for my TDM and it turned out like stuff. If you have any building tips/instructions then could you please post them?

You build until you have a tree that looks something close to a pine. :P

There is a pine tree in one of the default saves. Gazebo Garden I think, Just duplicate it and profit.
