Author Topic: A reason to not fear death.  (Read 14855 times)

Well, judging by what I've learned, there are only two places to go after death: Heaven and Hell. If you make the choice of Christianity, your final destination will be Heaven. If you don't decide or follow another god, your destination will be Hell.
 IMO...
Energy cannot be destroyed, so the energy part of us will still wander. There are 3 parts: spiritual, physical, and energy. Our spiritual self will continue to it's final destination(Heaven or Hell), our energy self will wander, and our physical self will remain.
Our energy self is where we get the "ghosts" of this world: simply unsettled energy beings capable of being picked up on scales. So ghosts don't exist, it's just energy. And because energy cannot be destroyed, it will always remain.

It depends if death comes painlessly. If you're asleep, you may wake up and die, but you can also remain asleep and die. If you're awake, you may or may not die painlessly. It just depends on how you and your body reacts to your brain ceasing to function. But a painful death can be caused by a car wreck, stabbed, shot, drowning, falling to your death, strangulation, poisonous gasses, zombie or animal attack, ect.
But sometimes you die painlessly from the above reasons because the strike may catch you by surprise and be so powerful that it kills you instantly. So a painful death depends on how long you're left suffering.
There is a chance that, when you're "dead", you can be revived because of a few remaining brain waves that are able to be used to get your body functioning again. This may not apply all the time, so you could be screwed.

Off I go, making long speeches of my opinion that will be ignored. Lawl.

There's no reason to believe that there would be something.
There is a reason.
And that reason is to believe in something.
For, if you don't believe in yourself, what will become of you?

If you don't believe in something, it won't exist for long.

I think that there would be something there, not heaven though. It wouldn't matter if there was or wasn't anyway because I'd be dead. Also, this reminds me of a movie called "The Invention of Lying"

I want to die before I am 18, but I would never commit Self Delete.

I was sorta hoping that when me and my friends are riding bikes late at night I get hit by a car or some stuff.

I'm a lazy starfish who doesn't want to work.

Move to England and live off benefits by having a few kids with some slutty women.

You're a horrible person.

But perhaps this 'soul' of yours would continue to exist, almost as a physical object, in the place you go when you die.

Even if you stay here.

If you don't believe in something, it won't exist for long.
You'd just go to Hell.

That's where all worldly things and unbelievers end up.

This topic reminds me of my trip to Judgment House...

Incognito Ergo Sum

I work from there. An afterlife is NOT a logical conclusion to make.

What exactly does a soul do?

You're a horrible person.

my theory is that I wouldn't remember anything even if I did live a second life of sorts

I am not going to die because I am invincible.

What exactly does a soul do?
Its a figure head.
Like the Queen of England.

What exactly does a soul do?
Whatever you want it to do.

By this theory, you would exist almost physically on Earth, being able to see and feel things, but not being able to physically alter anything or be seen by others.

This could get deeper if you thought about whether or not others of this same existence would be visible to you, and you being able to interact with them.
