How is this more than a build?
Sure, it has events... but isn't it still, well, a build? What makes it "more".

Although, Icygamma, I must believe you on this one, because in all technicality, this is in fact more than a build. It's a skyscraper with adequate electrical eventing. Don't be surprised when people ask this question though, because physically, it looks like a normal building.

Throughout the topic I've answered it. I'll quote all the different responses about, hopefully it'll clear things up.

the main point of the build is that it's one tower where the community gets together, not many different ones, even if due credit is given.

Because it's an experience.

Its a build that is used. It has purpose. I host interesting events and activities using the build. It is developing its own history. It is doing what no server has done before. Its the people, the vibe, and the activities that make it more. Because most builds are made and trashed.

And yes, people do see things like this and say "isn't that a bit over the top" but its just because you aren't used to such a thing. Don't refute it, embrace it.

Its not so much the build, its the ideas and the people that make Isar what is really is. The things done here are unique in the sense nobody has ever done what we do, or not on a scale like this.

For example, people have played around with generators, but I've taken a generator idea and literally powered an entire tower from it. Then the restaurant, people have RP'd crappy restaurants before but I went and found a bunch of well known players and hosted an evening of evented food and fine dining (no doubt there were some technical problems with the variables but it went pretty well). Its those kind of things that you won't find anywhere else.

I don't intend to post a save, only because it is ever changing. There is no one save that can define it. You have to come to the server to experience it.
