Nope, but the lack of animation quality makes for boring combat, uninteresting conversations - both with the player and not - and when the player is designed as nothing but a playable NPC, drags down the experience as a whole.
Really, what is the most impressive fight you've ever seen in a Bethesda game? Scripted fights, such as the dragon and Dagon in Oblivion, do not count.

when NPCs are nothing but a walking ragdoll, it brings down the coolness of the game.
But if you could perhaps disable/immobilize targets through their legs/head/arms etc and make them fall down of fatigue and not get back up long enough for you to escape, that'd be cool
