Let's break this down.
A majority of gamers are males, therefore, forums dedicated to these games have a large percentage of males.
Lego and its spin-offs is a topic largely popular by people under the age of 20, therefore, games based on this topic is populated by users under the age of 20.
People under the age of 20 are going through many hormonal changes and are trying to form an identity for themselves, therefore, they are more likely to seek attention, especially from those of the opposite gender.
People are typically attracted to others who share common interests, therefore, they devote more time and attention to these people.
To some this up, the Blockland forums are populated by a bunch of horny, 12-year-old boys.
Aeris, knowing this as an advantage, states things that will trigger reactions (Usually in the form of praise and/or support) in other members because of her status as a so-called "Girl Gamer".
This is known as "Attention Whoring".
