Well, I'm working on my first addon, which will probably not be posted due to the failure of first addons, and I've created a chassis with Wings 3D. I had seen some other models made with Wings, and was kind of wondering how it is that you can actually use them. Any help would be appreciated. Alright, so I managed to figure the Export-Import thing out. My problem now, is that it won't show up in the list. Which kind of makes me sad, because I used to facepalm at incorrectly put together addons. Can anyone help? |

You do not need to create lots of separate parts of your model for the vehicle, also you need to joint the vehicle you are creating up with a program like blender or Milkshape. Packaging it is one of the most annoying parts when creating an add-on, you need to make sure the vehicle has everything it needs in the zip file, Description.txt, the script of the vehicle, the model of the vehicle and so on. |
