No, you are not a veteran if you are claiming to be one. Actually, nobody gives a damn whether you are a veteran or not, all that matters is how much you have contributed. You could have been lurking this forum for ages without adding anything significant, so you can't expect people to bow down to your assumed superiority. On the other hand, there may be new people who immediately contributed a lot right after joining, outweighing any of the "self-assumed veterans". All in all, you can only be a veteran probably if you are considered as one by the community, not by claiming. Or wait, just by claiming anything outrageous on these forums will be granted as truth? In that case I claim that I'm a super rich playboy, bedding 36 women a day while spending as much daily as the annual budget of a tiny African dictatorship! This is true, because I claimed it!!! |
