I'm not saying it's dying or anything, but I seriously don't know a lot of people who play PC over console, other than games like Starcraft and Minecraft. Even go to a mall or something, and lets say we ask people what system they play mw2 on or something. Most would probably say console I actually might do that.

Or buy a good PC that you won't need to constantly upgrade?

A new graphics card doesn't cost a thousand dollars.

And most people forget to notice that you use your computer for more than just games. You can either buy a console for games and a PC for what you need a PC for, or buy a PC for all of it. Your choice.

A good PC is a little over 1 thousand.

Even so, a graphics card is what, $150?  $200?

Edit:  I can't debate right now, I really need to study.  Maybe later.

If you are a smart computer shopper, you would buy a comp with a good sized case, and a good mother board/Quad Core processor, you can just upgrade the GPU/RAM for much less than buying a new computer. GPU's are usually the most constantly updated/outdated piece of Hardware.

Right. One that meets minimum specifications might even match 360 graphics and run at faster than human eye framerate.

I've enjoyed every indie game I've played so far. Let's not forget that indie games aren't PC exclusive.

--- Quote from: _Rave_ on November 17, 2010, 07:25:46 PM ---If you want to play the new CoD you will need a new comp ever 3 years or so.

3 years is more than enough for a smart person to save way more than he needs for a decent PC.

Rave is saying it's dying. We're defending against it. You suddenly jump in and assume that we're saying Xbox is dying, and that he's defending that. You really have all of this backwards.
