Newcomer: A game coming for the C64?

Seriously, I am confused as hell. Are these guys making a new game for the C64? Have they been living under a rock and realize that no one plays the C64 anymore? Seriously. Every information I could find on this has some sort of information retaining on how it's going to be released, (Or already has been released?) This year. Can someone make it not confusing?
