I cant host in minecraft?

Well I went to these forums because I find these forum are more active. Anyway when ever I downlod the software to host, it cant find the application to run it. I searched around and I came up with some thing to do with "MIME application/x-msdownload" Anyway, an you help me out?

You can easily host from wireless connection.
