D.D.R.P. --- City type role play mod. --- 30 pages of code so far
Gartanium:
My idea of a good city rp
Tier one
Workers can mine "plastic" from Bricks (needs food to be mined) Hunters can hunt for food which allows plastic to be mined Plastic is used as a currency
Tier Two
Plastic can be refined by a crafting gui or something like that ( crudly refined) Food can be cooked
Tier Three
Refined plastic
Used for Building, Job specific Events, etc used to build goverment buildings
Goverment system
Goverment runs via players, they choose their type of goverment (or some one comes into power and chooses it for them :D )
3 types of Goverment.... Monarchy, Democracy, and of course a goverment like USSR
Gartanium:
Double post because of wiered glitch/lagthing
Job system:
There are no magical jobs were you just "gain money"
All goverment jobs are paid via taxes after a good economey is going and players create a goverment
A job gui is used to hire people and fire them... Jobs are costum made via buisness owners in this job gui
Education:
Education is built by the goverment, run by the goverment, and paid via taxes. Players spend time in school (Actualy go to a school lot) and learn how to become a certain event skill set. (an actual toggable ability like crafting something, making job specific events, etc)
Crime System:
Players arn't automaticly taken to jail (its so silly) and can hold weapons while in jail
Players do not automaticly gain demerits/crimereports w/e but instead evidence is dropped, basicly the way Iban did it but I think he got the idea from me idk

Tier Two

There is already crafting, but a gui is not needed for this.
Tier Three
Refined plastic

A product of the crafting process involving one of the products of mining is required to build, but there really is no distinction between government and non-government buildings.

3 types of Goverment.... Monarchy, Democracy, and of course a goverment like USSR
Players could theoretically choose whatever government they want, but most likely won't care.

Technically it's a capitalist system, you can fire and hire people, but the game wouldn't keep track of that, because the bonds between employee and boss are not something in code.
Education:
Education is built by the goverment, run by the goverment, and paid via taxes. Players spend time in school (Actualy go to a school lot) and learn how to become a certain event skill set. (an actual toggable ability like crafting something, making job specific events, etc)
I'm not going to bother making an education part, there will just be expirence collection that means the longer you work at one job, the better you are at it.
Crime System:
Players arn't automaticly taken to jail (its so silly) and can hold weapons while in jail
Players do not automaticly gain demerits/crimereports w/e but instead evidence is dropped, basicly the way Iban did it but I think he got the idea from me idk
Why the hell do we allow criminals in prison to magically get weapons?
They can get weapons on their own, sure, but we shouldn't *give* them weapons.
