Exterior building

Well, I need some tips on exterior building. It always ends up looking stupidass, or it is just a box.
My interiors are love, though, and if you want a picture i'll go ingame and fetch a screeny.
I try to kind of "mimic" certain styles, but it never works out how i want it.

what kind of design are you looking for? Modern, fantasy, medieval, etc.
