New Build saving
<< < (4/13) > >>
Wizzard1:
I think people should be less concerned about people 'stealing' their builds, and more about people thinking they are saving just their build, and then loading it at a later date and loading others build with it, over existing builds!

I think the loading routine should be as such:
Save AND Load with ownership by BL-ID.
Save prompt with checkboxes of those whos bricks you want to save.
Load dialog with the same prompt.

Here is my solution to the problem. I just hide my name through out the build and if someone trys to claim it I bring them to ONE of the spots and show them. Only one cause then they might kill that one and claim it as their own anyways and I doubt some people will be insane enough to go through thousands of bricks just to find all the possible name locations.

I believe this is a good idea. Have it save only your bricks AND maybe if someone wants it and you trust them enough you can give them a save trust or something.

Bisjac:
i didnt know people could do that, i might not play multiplayer anymore.

thius is no diff  then the feeling you get when someone from 0002 came in and hammered away your build.

why dont someone make a mod for this fix?
Badspot:
Gee, we better disable screenshots too because people can take screenshots of your stuff and claim that it's theirs.

You guys aren't thinking this through.
