Is Burnout: Paradise worth buying? I've always been interested in the series and it's half off.

I really enjoyed playing through it. Its strong points are the detail of the world, the soft body crashes, and the races can be pretty fun some times.

The strongest point though is the racing area. It's great finding good routes and slick shortcuts to shave time off of races, the whole world is kind of like a really intricate pinball machine with a lot of side routes and passageways that aren't fully apparent but fun when you find and master them. I've played it for ~26 hours and still probably haven't found every little intricacy in the world.
