Sorry 1/1000. --- End quote --- It is a DM, not a freebuild, which a lot of people don't seem to understand at first. Most forces come and go if they don't have a very solid fort. Even the best have collpased. One thing the best forces have taken advantadge of is that new players don't have good weapons, and can be a valuable aid in defending a fort. A simple "hey if you want to join us we can give you top weps" might help you out a bit if you've formed your own team. If you're still not thrilled by it, go try out Zack0Wack0's RPG for a different genre - you might like it. My ISP died on me for a bit so I spent 5~10 minutes adding a wanted feature to the wrench. I'll probably test it out soon on the dedi if you want to come and prove your guess correct. Still having weird errors. Can't connect to any websites besides this one (e.g. Google, Steampowered.com), nor can I connect to the master server in Blockland. However, I can connect to these forums and Steam itself just fine. If I can't resolve these by tonight I'll reset the map fully and toss in the small update tomorrow morning. |

Ok finally fixed my connection. The mini (code-wise) wrench update is on the server: It still heals players up to 100 HP, and rollover HP will be stored in their overheal, which is 0 when players spawn. Their overheal will go up to 50 and will take damage before HP does, with any extra being deducted from HP. For example, if you have 100 HP + 50 HP (max), and a Rocket hits you in the face, you'll be down to 20 HP + 0 (I think). Snipers have done 150 from the start so they're still instant kill. Other weapons just take longer to kill if they're buffed. As for the map, I'm not going to reset it yet, because there's still a decent number of people online, and... They seem to be headed for another planet. It's most likely safer there anyways when it comes down to it. (I'll reset it sometime tomorrow, probably during school for most American kids.) |
