Minecraft - The Torch Game
(1/2) > >>
JPSC:
Hi, I was looking around in the Games section and I found a thread called Quest To The West.
This thread gave me an idea, and I'll show you what it is.
The host (director) makes four individual minecart tracks. The minecart tracks must have boosters so the game is not that easy.
The player limit is up to four. That means, up to four players can play. Each players get in the Minecarts. But before doing that, the host must randomly place redstone torches around the tracks.
During the high-speed minecart chase, the player must gather the maximum redstone torches possible. In the end, the player who has most torches, wins the game.
Recommended Prize Board (optional)
1st: Diamond
2nd:Redstone
3rd: Iron
4th: Gold
Tell me what you think, and give me some constructive feedback to help me improvise on this game.
masterockets:
for extra fun, you should have the tracks go loopy and make the tracks intersect or something

Why the hell would anyone want gold?

Gold is best used decoratively such as in the form of a block or as a showy armor set since gold armor and weapons have the same durability as wooden ones. Thus, it's used to make a watch.
Gold is also used to craft golden apples, which restore full health.
Even though a golden apple restores all your health, it is a waste of time and resources since making one requires 72 gold ingots. However, Gold is useless except for decoration and to make a Watch, and players who have a plentiful supply may wish to create some as a vanity item.
Dippindots:
Make gold the last prize, nobody likes it, even as a vanity item.
