| Is the Playstation 3 a good system? |

So here's the rundown, chums. I don't want to pay for Xbox Live and I don't have the cash to build my own gaming rig. I'm thinking of using the money I get on Christmas to buy a PS3. I pretty much want to play Call of Duty:Black ops, Rayman 1 & 2, LBP, and any other games that interest me. But before I even think of asking for one of these, I want to know if there's any other worthwhile games for the system (seeing as a 4 game collection's real shabby). I got the PSP last year and the selection of games for that system is severely lacking (pretty much downgrades of PS3 games and movie games >:I) and I don't want to waste 299$ on a console with a lacking selection of games. Also, don't just spout "ps3 has no games" because that doesn't help me at all, really. |

If you don't want to/can't pay for Xbox Live, then yes, go for the PS3, and i would recommend getting a used one. I found a used 80Gb PS3 for $237, only difference was that it was the older model, and it had a few scratches on the outside, other than that it runs perfectly, and i have had absolutely no problems with it. |
