--- Quote from: Reactor Worker on November 29, 2010, 06:43:31 PM ---The argument could be applied to any number of graphical/quality settings in the game. * Limited number of lights * No native anti-aliasing * Highly restricted draw distance * Limited number of "physics" bricks at a time * Limited events * Limited bricks --- End quote --- The last four of those are editable in the options, though. |

Even at the maximum view distance, it can still be a pain. It was originally higher, but Badspot reduced it for performance reasons. (Im one of them lol) --- End quote --- Just to be clear, latency does not interfere with rendering such as that of lighting and the resultant shadows; you are completely wrong. Having an amazing broadband connection would not circumvent the problem. Many of Blockland's users are running on old and/or weak hardware. |

And ya, maybe a lot of blocklanders here have old PCs, maybe the last comment I made wasn't the most intelligent one, but hay, it should be an option, thats what this topic is all about isnt it? lol. --- End quote --- How would making it single player only fix anything..? |
