Truce's SUPER CUL SALVAGE MODE
Chrono:
--- Quote from: Truce on November 30, 2010, 03:35:18 PM ---Multiple users contacted me right when I arrived home and said that you were throwing weapons outside the map. I had fixed this yesterday manually, but never updated the save file (thrown items go through non-raycasting bricks). This was not an intended feature so I removed you from the server temporarily (note: not permaban, don't leave out details) while I fixed it.

And you believe them? These people are known to be starfishs. It's likely that they did it themselves just to blame it on me.
--- Quote from: Truce on November 30, 2010, 03:35:18 PM ---Go ahead. It'll be quite amusing to see you stoop as low to ripoff a mod an attempt to make a version as good or better just because you can't figure out how to play the current mod/map properly. You're a smart person, I had honestly expected you to figure everything out. Oh well, I don't mind that being part of your reputation, actually - no loss for me!

--- Quote from: Chrono on November 29, 2010, 09:09:26 PM ---Making little gang wars and stealing bricks to build bases, that's actually fun. And that's what I thought it's about.
--- End quote ---
And that's how I'm going to make it. The way it was expected to be. Not something where you abuse every aspect of it (making sky bases, hoarding every weapon spawn), so you can continue to kill people aimlessly till they want to quit.
Bisjac:
i support chronos idea more. sounds more fun

The ones who contacted me I trust, regardless of your relations with them.

See, this is one of the things I thought you'd be intelligent enough to grasp: You do know that's just Afghanistan DM, right? No roof and non-fixed weapon spawns? In the map Warground and others are working on, it's a TDM centered around two bases with some weaker, fixed weapon spawns in them. In the middle, there's a warehouse with useful bricks and more powerful weapons. Sure, one team can grab them all as fast as they can, but then the other team just has to raid their base once and swipe them back.

My relations with them? It has nothing to do with that. Apparently you're oblivious to their intentions, or you support them.

When you added a roof, that made people able to make the most unaccessable bases possible. It has nothing to do with the map either. It's the way it's scripted. The same stuff is likely to happen with the new map too. I don't see how you plan to stop it with a new build.

Naming bricks "nobuild" prevents you from connecting bricks to them. What roof problem?
